WAUKESHA - A decade of rehabilitating downtown Waukesha's streets will take one final turn, this time digging deep into West Broadway and taking the rough edges off of North East Avenue. Preliminary work kicked off in late February , but the heavy equipment moved into place on Broadway in early March, setting the stage for multiple phases of an effort that will stretch into September. The $3.75 million project package, awarded to State Contractors Inc., includes underground utility work for the larger portion of the reconstruction.
